WiiKey Firmware 1.9G (for Galaxy) is now out which fixes WiiKey’s compatibility issue with Super Mario Galaxy. The announcement makes it clear that this is a hot-fix beta and should be used at the user’s own risk.

I recently changed my firmware from 1.9b to 1.9g, burned the region iso to a dvd and started the upgrade fix. Everything worked as planned. SMG works great now, also with the added wii brick blocker patch, helped also. Tried all my other “backed up” games with no flaws. But the wiikey team still states  ” this is a hot-fix beta and should be used at the user’s own risk.” so if u feel as if u want to play SMG then do it. If not really interested into playing SMG then it is recommended that you dont use this update. But it may restrict some future released games.
