OK, first we are going to burn a wii backup disk, here we got a Modified Wii with FW 3.4U with a Wiikey Installed. Lets take a look at the Burning workflow process. This only pertains to Modified Wii’s Support Playing BackUp Disks.
Preparing the Wii Backup .ISO image.
most wii backups are about 4.37gb
Use WiiBrickBlocker to remove any Region updates that may harm your wii.
remember, NEVER update from outside your wii’s region.
once completed we are going to be changing the region of the wii iso, open RegionFrii, There are 3 different types of regions to choose from, Europe, US, Japan, the game we are burning is the New Naruto Shippuden EX3 only released in Japan. so we will select our own current region, in my case it is US, click convert.
Imgburn, clonecd, and Nero, work for windows, but i prefer to use my Mac Built In Disk Utility to burn the wii backup, I burn at 2x to 4x but never higher than that. you can burn both + and -R’s.
If you use +r’s then they have to be booktyped to – rom.
I recommend useing Sony for Japaneese regional Backups, i have had a few problems with other brand disks when burning Foreign games.

Semi-Bricked Wii? We have the Awnser!
October 1st, 2008
Filed under: Hacks, Mods, Nintendo, Updates, Wii by Dingo
Posted on: coderetard.com, & wiinewz.com.

If you semi-bricked your Wii by performing the update on an imported Mario Kart disc (or similar game) that did not match your Wii’s region, and was wondering what you were going to do with your gimped Wii, you’re in luck. These ISOs are fix disc images that contain the latest update from Nintendo’s server for each Wii region, namely NTSU-J (Japan), NTSC-U (USA), and PAL (Europe). To restore your Wii back to its former glory:
- Download the correct rar file for your Wii region.
- For Japanese NTSC-J Wiis, use the v288 update
- For USA NTSC-U Wiis, use the v289 update
- For European PAL Wiis, use the v290 update
- Extract the ISO from the rar file.
- Burn the ISO to a DVD.
- Insert the burned DVD into your Wii.
- Allow the disc to run the update and your Wii firmware will be updated to the latest. This means inserting Mario Kart Wii again will not prompt you for an update.
These ISOs have been tested to work on all regions but make absolutely certain you are downloading the right update for your Wii otherwise you could fully brick it. Hopefully this will bring your Wii back from the brink.

There is now a modchip that can work with these types of dvd circuit boards called the D2Ckey. This Chip requires over 30+ wires to be soldered and without the wii-clip this would be a very difficult task unless you are a pro solderer.

But there is now a separate piece that can make this process about 100x easier and best of all its SOLDERLESS!! Its Called the Wii-clip, they have alot of different varieties to fit different types of modchips. For the D2cKey the Version of wii-clip would be V1. They Explain more into details at wii-clip.com.

There is a reseller of the wii-clip and D2Ckey called Modchip.ca, They are very good and fast when it comes to shipment and quality. They also give you a option on when you purchase a modchip and a wii-clip they will go ahead and presolder everything for you so when you get the chip all the hard part is already done for you, all you would need to do is snap it in the right spot, put everything back together and you are set and ready to play backed up wii games. and now you have a hacked wii!

If you are worried about voiding you warrentee have no fear because The Nintendo Wii does not have a security sticker. so if you ever needed to return your wii all you would need to do is unclip the chip, put the wii back together, then you way back to the store.
Bling PS controller chain
April 29th, 2008
Filed under: Gear, PS2 by Dingo
This is an older post that i recently found and i thought it was pretty cool looking chain charm, check it.

Original post: The PS controller is now an icon of video gaming, and despite the console being in its third iteration already, the shape of the original PS controller has but changed a little. This little bling chain that comes in the form factor of a PS controller is definitely something any video game fanatic would love. It doesn’t belong to any rapper or rock star though, but Just Blaze from BGR. According to him, “It pays to have rich friends, get you some! It was a gift.” I could not agree more.

A great combination of programs and free utilities that allow Hacked iPhone users to take photos and Publish them on Flickr automatically post on your Website or Blog.
The iPhone app to install threw installer would be iFlickr. It allows you to privately or publicly post photos taken with your iPhone to your Flickr account. It also Includes a Geolocation option that allows to display the exact location pinpoint on a map on where the photo was taken. although this option does not work properly as of now but in future updates i am sure a fix will come.
This program is great! But what if you want Flickr to automatically post the most recent photos taken from your iphone straight to your website or blog? There is a great Google Gadget tool for this, it collects and displays the most recent public photos that you have posted on your Flickr account. The Google Gadget is called “Flickr Photos“. Just go and set it up. Copy and paste the code where you want it to show up on your website or blog and once you place your flickr account information in the gadget then it should already start to work with your most recent Flickr uploaded photos! Enjoy
